A peer education program – Alcohol and other drugs
Viewing the four videos
You can of course watch the videos in any order but they tend to be more meaningful if you view them in a logical sequence as follows:
- Introduction: This does exactly what the title suggests: it describes the Framework and the thinking behind it, and then briefly describes each of the activities which appear in the following videos
- Activity 1: ‘Circles of Influence’ looks at the external world that each of us occupies
- Activity 2: ‘Frame it’ uses the very familiar and well-used Scaling Activities to start to look at the internal world of each person
- Activity 3: ‘The Run’ looks at the idea of staying safe no matter what choice a person makes, and the importance of making sure we look after both ourselves as well as those around us.
Additions
There is lots of room within this Framework and with the activities, to plug in other essentials that fit for individual groups facing unique situations and life choices.
